BAIN CAPITAL SPECIAL SITUATIONS OVERVIEW
Bain Capital Special Situations has $24 billion in assets under management and has invested $19 billion in ~250 deals across a balanced geographic mix of investments in North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific since its founding in 2018. We provide bespoke capital solutions to meet the diverse needs of companies, entrepreneurs, and asset owners - in all market cycles. The strategy brings together equity and credit expertise, as well as corporate and real asset expertise, to provide solutions which cannot be met by traditional providers or other funds within Bain Capital. Our dedicated global team of approximately 145 investment and portfolio professionals contribute the local expertise and capabilities that enable these diverse investments.
WHY THIS ROLE IS UNIQUE
This role puts you at the intersection of AI and investing. You’ll sit alongside our Global Special Situations (GSS) investing and operations teams to design and deploy AI tools that make every part of the investment process more efficient, and more data driven. While fully dedicated to the GSS business, you will be part of the larger Bain Capital Data Science & AI Team, a group of data scientists, AI engineers, product managers, and business Analysts, building AI products and driving key AI initiative across all Bain Capital businesses. You’ll have the freedom to experiment, the visibility to influence senior decision-makers, and the opportunity to stay at the forefront of rapidly evolving AI technologies, all while helping transform how the team invests.

Compensation:
Expected Annual Base Salary $120,000 – $150,000
Actual base salary will be determined by a wide range of factors including but not limited to role, function, level, experience, qualifications and geographic location. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based upon factors such as individual impact, team and firm performance.
