This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an AI Engineer in the United States.

We are seeking a skilled and innovative AI Engineer to lead the development of advanced conversational AI agents and generative systems for consumer-facing applications. In this role, you will build production-grade AI solutions, improve chatbot architectures, and optimize interactions for real-world user experiences. You will work with cutting-edge AI frameworks, manage integrations with vector and graph databases, and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to ensure high performance. The role requires a creative problem solver with strong programming skills, hands-on experience in LLM-based systems, and a proactive approach to research and technical challenges. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product value and redefine AI-driven user interactions.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead the development, deployment, and refinement of agentic chatbots and AI systems.
  • Merge and optimize multiple chatbot architectures to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Design, implement, and maintain evaluation frameworks, capturing performance metrics and comparing results against baseline tools.
  • Optimize prompts and manage context for AI interactions with users and agents.
  • Integrate and utilize data sources, including vector and graph databases, to enhance AI functionality.
  • Implement observability tools like MLflow to monitor, debug, and optimize LLM token usage and system performance.
  • Research and resolve platform limitations to ensure robust, scalable AI solutions.


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in building agentic systems, multi-tool chatbots, and LLM-based applications.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and frameworks such as ReactJS and NextJS.
  • Hands-on experience with AI/LLM development, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and chatbot systems.
  • Experience with vector databases and graph database systems (e.g., Neo4j/Cypher).
  • Strong background in designing and executing AI evaluation frameworks.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and capable of independent research and problem-solving.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
