Corvid Technologies is looking to add qualified AI/ML Engineers to our team in Huntsville, Alabama. As an AI/ML Engineer, you will utilize your expertise in data analytics, algorithm development, and deep learning to support the integration and analysis of diverse data sources and develop machine learning, data mining, and statistical algorithms for pattern recognition and anomaly detection.
This position will allow you work on challenging problems at the intersection of data science, machine learning, and software engineering - specifically working where research meets application. Our team integrates novel concepts into systems and applications used by a diverse set of customers. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy research-to-production workflows, developing novel algorithms, and optimizing models for real-world performance.
Tasking includes:
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models for pattern recognition, anomaly detection, and predictive analytics
- Process and analyze large, heterogeneous datasets (including sensor and time-series data)
- Conduct R&D on state-of-the-art AI/ML methods and transition prototypes into production-level code
- Improve and optimize existing models for accuracy, robustness, and computational efficiency
- Implement data pipelines, feature engineering workflows, and model evaluation frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and contribute to technical documentation
- Debug, test, and maintain high-quality, scalable software
Requirements:
- Candidate must be a US Citizen and meet eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance (preferred candidate will possess a secret clearance)
- Bachelor's Degree in a related STEM discipline is required, preferred candidates will have a Master's or PhD and relevant research experience
- Candidate must demonstrate a solid understanding of core ML techniques: regression, classification, clustering, dimensionality reduction, tree-based models, feature engineering
- Preferred candidates will have at least 5 years of applied AI/ML research or engineering - specifically applying current or cutting-edge AI/ML technologies, ML for natural language processing, computer vision, reinforcement learning, generative modeling, or related topics
- Demonstrated ability in software development (Python, Java, and/or C++), including an understanding of the importance of version control, testing, debugging, and documentation
- Knowledge of Machine Learning APIs, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Working knowledge of various neural network architectures including Convolutional Neural Networks, Recurrent Neural Networks, and Graph Neural Networks
