AI/ML Engineer (Remote - US)

As an AI/ML Engineer, you will work at the cutting edge of artificial intelligence and machine learning, applying advanced technologies to mission-critical projects in health and defense domains. You will design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions that support digital engineering, automated testing, and operational excellence. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, integrating cloud and virtualized systems, and ensuring AI/ML models meet stringent validation and performance criteria. You will contribute to emerging technology initiatives, translating complex research and requirements into practical, scalable solutions, while gaining exposure to both commercial and government IT environments.

Accountabilities

·        Design, develop, and maintain AI/ML solutions to support digital model-based testing and validation.

·        Collaborate with program leadership and government customers to implement AI/ML-informed automation and cloud-based workflows.

·        Provide subject matter expertise on IT/cloud infrastructure and associated test methods for digital engineering projects.

·        Support the integration of AI/ML applications into health and defense programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory and policy requirements.

·        Document configuration and technical procedures to maintain reproducibility and consistency across AI/ML solutions.

·        Contribute technical expertise to emerging technology initiatives, research projects, and solution deployment activities.

·        Minimum 5 years of experience in data management and engineering.

·        Strong knowledge of commercial and military cloud systems, IT infrastructures, and networks.

·        Experience with AI/ML testing, solution design, and execution of digital tests.

·        Proficiency in industry-standard verification and validation methodologies for hardware, software, and systems.

·        Experience with containerized solutions for cloud and IT environments.

·        Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and communicate technical solutions effectively.

·        Desired: experience with robotics or advanced automation technologies.
