Job Description:
Join Vor Systems as our first dedicated AI hire to build the reasoning layer for utility-scale energy projects. You will automate complex regulatory and financial workflows, processing messy real-world data to accelerate clean energy deployment. This is a high-impact, founding role working directly with a proven leadership team from DoorDash, Meta, and Amazon.

What you will do:
Design and build core agentic workflows that plan, execute, and verify multi-step regulatory and financial analyses for energy infrastructure.
Develop document intelligence pipelines on Modal to process multimodal inputs, including engineering schematics, site plans, and complex legal leases.
Implement rigorous validation and evaluation frameworks to ensure LLM outputs meet the high correctness standards required for infrastructure data.
The ideal candidate:
Proven experience shipping production LLM-powered systems, with deep knowledge of retrieval, tool use, and context construction within larger platforms.
Highly proficient in Python and comfortable working with async or GPU-backed systems such as Modal, vLLM, or custom agent orchestration frameworks.
Exceptional at handling messy, real-world data from legal and financial domains while maintaining a strong focus on system reliability and observability.
