The AI Engineer II will be responsible for designing and deploying agentic AI systems that enhance product capabilities and enable intelligent automation.

This role focuses on building modular, scalable agents using both open-source and proprietary large language models.

The AI Engineer II will contribute to the development of reusable components, data pipelines, and performance optimization strategies that support advanced agent behaviors across diverse environments

Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement AI agents using Python, integrating both open-source frameworks (e.g., LangChain, VLLM, Ollama) and proprietary LLMs (Open AI, VertexAI, etc).
    • Develop modular, scalable, and reusable components for agent architecture including memory, planning, tool use, and multi-modal capabilities.
    • Collaborate with product teams to prototype and evaluate novel agent behaviors and learning strategies.
    • Support benchmarking of agent performance across tasks and environments.
    • Assist in identifying bottlenecks and proposing optimizations.
    • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines to support agent training, evaluation, and deployment.
    • Implement observability and monitoring frameworks to ensure agent reliability and compliance.
    • Integrate vector databases and embedding techniques to support agent memory and retrieval.
    • Maintain CI/CD pipelines and MLOps frameworks to enable continuous delivery of AI capabilities.
    • Assist fine-tuning and prompt engineering workflows to optimize agent performance across domains.
    • Follow data governance and security best practices to ensure agent compliance with organizational standards.

Essential Skills and/or Certifications

    • Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related field required.
    • Experience with agent orchestration frameworks, simulation environments, or robotics.
    • Experience with Python Multiprocessing
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Strong work experience with graph data and time series as well as working knowledge of Reinforcement Learning algorithms and LLM fine tuning are pluses.
