We’re looking for motivated and talented college students to join our paid part-time summer internship program. Founded in 2010, Davis Unlimited Information Technologies, Inc. (DUIT) is a woman-owned, minority-owned small business specializing in Information Technology, headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland. We serve the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Intelligence Community (IC) with expertise in Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, PKI, and other IT services.
We have several long term projects for a minimum of 30 hours a week. Positions are scheduled to begin 08 June, 2026 - 31 July 2026.

All Applicants must have the following: should be actively enrolled in University of Maryland Baltimore County (preferred), nearby accredited institution, or resides less than 20 miles from the area and in great academic standing (GPA of 3.0 or better) with attending university. Your role as an
AI Engineering Intern
- Receive personalized training from an IT professional with 20+ years of experience in DoD and private industry.
- Work on real-world projects supporting our Recruitment or IT teams.
- Enhance your technical skills through a customized instructional plan.
- Apply your knowledge in data pipeline development, data modeling, programming, and problem solving to help build and improve AI/ML training pipelines—supporting reliable data ingestion, transformation, validation, and performance monitoring.
- Gain proficiency in DevOps and MLOps in a structured corporate environment.
- Strengthen your problem-solving, time management, and communication skills in a professional setting.
- Complete IT coursework and projects under expert mentorship.
- Must provide a copy of transcripts (official or unofficial from current academic semester term showing 3.0 GPA or better)

- Must be committed to attending the full 8 weeks of the internship.
Qualification:
- Required:
- Academic Background Actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- GPA: Minimum of a 3.0
- Programming Skills: Experience or coursework in languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript or C++. Experience with agentic coding tools such as Codex, Claude Code or Gemini.
- Location: Reside within 20 miles of Baltimore, Maryland, or attend a nearby accredited institution (e.g., University of Maryland Baltimore County preferred).
- Technical Knowledge: Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures. Working knowledge of Natural Language Processors (NLPs) and Large Language Models (LLMs). Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure. (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
- Personal Attributes: Problem-solving abilities, analytical mindset, and excellent communication skills
